As an affiliate of Norton® Healthcare, we enjoy the best of both worlds - access to all the resources of the largest health system in Louisville, while retaining local ownership and leadership in daily operations.

Harrison County Hospital has continuously served the people of Harrison County since 1950. Today our acute care community hospital serves the healthcare needs of a much broader and growing population in Harrison and Crawford counties, Indiana and Meade County, Kentucky - a service area of approximately 60,000.

Here, we care for our patients and embrace a fine healthcare staff. Annually we see nearly 70,000 patients. We’re one of the largest employers in Harrison County, now with 463 full, part time, and PRN employees and an annual payroll with benefits of $19 million. The Hospital’s $37 million net revenue makes us a major contributor to the local economy. During the past 20 years, our Hospital has experienced positive financial performance exceeding industry averages. As our community grows, we grow, serving more patients than ever before, and recruiting highly qualified hospital and medical staff. We moved on February 21st to our new medical campus at 1141 Hospital Drive NW, in Corydon.
